New Router Launched By Edimax Which Acts As WiFi Hotspot
Edimax Technology has declared the launch of its new 3G-6218n Wireless 150Mbps 3G Portable Router and the most attractive feature of this router is that it can be used as a Wifi Hotspot. Users can use the 3G-6218n to create a Wifi Hotspot at any place with a 3G internet connection. The 3G-6218n Wireless 3G router has a built-in battery, xDSL /cable Internet support, and also a 3G/3.5G support. It enables the conversion of an internet connection from a cable/xDSL modem or a 3G/3.5G USB modem card into a Wifi Hotspot. If either of these connections is not available, a user can share an internet connection with a smartphone that supports internet tethering or 3G. This facility allows users of major smartphones such as HTC, iPhone, Nokia, Blackberry etc to create their instant Wi-Fi hotspots.
