Live TV on PC Via WiFi
Elgato has re-released the latest addition to its line of TV tuners for PCs and Macs via wifi. The HDHomeRun dual network tuner has received an update and offers PC and Mac users the ability to watch live TV on PC and record HDTV over a local WiFi network.
The HDHomeRun offers North American users the same features that have been enjoyed by Europeans, Australians and New Zealanders with Elgato's NetStream DTT. These include the ability to watch and record up to two different channels, either free over the air unencrypted broadcast TV or unencrypted digital cable channels, on a PC or Mac. The connection can either be Ethernet or WiFi, where the quality will depend on the network's bandwidth. The HDHomeRun connects to an antenna or cable TV outlet and your router, so it can be easily hidden out of sight.
